Wood or Metal Hot Tub Gazebos?
Hot tub gazebos serve a great purpose to protect your jacuzzi from outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sleet, leaves, etc…You can get them in all shapes and sizes and can be built to go with any theme your home may have. You’re hot tub will instantly become more private and reserved after it is enclosed.
There are two types of building materials most often used for hot tub gazebos. The main two are wood and metal and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Here are the advantages and disadvantages of each of the building materials:
Wooden Hot Tub Gazebos
Wooden gazebos offer more flexibility for design because it is easier to work with. You have your gazebo customized to whichever design you want. They are very durable and most often the wooden gazebos are less expensive than metal.
Metal Hot Tub Gazebos
Metal gazebos offer more durability and wood. They are heavier duty and can withstand harsher outdoor elements. Because they are heavy most designs are limited to the 4 corner rectangular design. The price of these types of gazebos are more expensive than wood. These metal gazebos are often more beneficial to areas that receive a lot of snow. They can withstand the weight of the snow much better.
Whichever type of building material you choose will be largely up to you. Both materials work great in whatever location you are at. They are beautiful to look at and give you privacy from nosy neighbors.
An enclosed hot tub offers you a warmer location to get in your jacuzzi during cold weather. A gazebo allows you to use your hot tub for 12 months out of the year. You can still use your hot tub no matter if its raining or if it is snowing with a good hot tub gazebo.
