What is about the magic in movies that draws us so closet to the entertainment industry. When we are kids anything that has mystery or magical powers of any kind whether its cartoons or live television has a way of keeping our attention like nothing else. It doesn’t just apply to children it honestly applies to all ages. Adults are as enamored with movies like Harry Potter and Twilight as much as children and teenagers are. Heck I find myself watching Wizards of Waverly Place weekly and that’s without my 9 year old in the room. So why is it that we are all so enthralled with the magic movies?

Well my personal opinion is that the land of make believe is something that all of us as kids dream of and are attracted and as well get older the kid in us never dies thus we stay infatuated with the magic in movies. Even magician movies that feature magicians at their best are something we all love to watch. Magicians have been dazzling the eye for centuries and now it has become so mainstream in television and movies that we cannot get enough.

We all want to believe in the unbelievable whether its a superhero or vampires with superhuman powers. Magic movies will always have a place in our hearts. Movies like the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Chronicles of Narnia astound the mind. The great thing about the movies of today is that they are more often coming to the big screen in 3D. This really has the children flocking to the movie theater and it also has the production companies placing more emphasis on magic movies for the public to enjoy. Alice in Wonderland just recently came out with a huge blockbuster hit and it was in 3D. They are now making televisions with 3D capabilities so you are going to see an onslaught of movies in three dimensional for years to come.
