In order to decide if the cheapest electronic cigarette is the best you will have to be familiar with a number of makes and models of e cigarettes that are available to be able to compare what they offer and decide for yourself what is right for you.

Prices range from under $40 to about $140, but nothing about one is equal to the other. For example the cheapest e cigarette may be purchased by someone who wants to try out this new electronic cigarette idea his friends are talking about, and the package that’s chosen is cheap but appears to have everything needed, like a battery, a charger, an atomizer for vapor, a few cartridges of e-liquid and the basic body of the electronic cigarette itself. Now you plug it in and charge it and check the cartridge is in place and take your first puff. Not bad you say, and you pat yourself on the back for having bought the cheapest model. But wait…after an hour or two of puffing with vapor the same as you would a cigarette, you notice that the vapor isn’t very powerful, in fact you’re wondering what to do. Is it malfunctioning? Then you realize the charge on the battery is already low and the vapor isn’t being produced as forcefully….hmmmm….so you plug in the charger and wait while the battery charges….. hmmmm….you didn’t realize it was going to take 8 or 12 hours to charge up again. You really need a smoke…so you go back to regular cigarettes, lucky you still have some…..

In the morning, your battery is fully charged and start all over again, but the fully charged battery only lasts a short while and then it’s back to the charger. You decide you should have bought two batteries or two starter kits so one can charge while the other is in use. The cheap e cigarette has suddenly doubled in price if you need two, or if need to start buying extra components. Anyway, the website where you bought it doesn’t carry the components, just the kits, so you’ll have to search who has what you need.

It’s just an example, but this illustrates why I believe the cheapest electronic cigarette may not be the best. You get what you pay for and e cigs are no exception.
