The Dri Keck Kennel flooring is a neat, compact flooring that is not too expensive nor too heavy to ship if you buy online. The one foot by one foot hard plastic tiles are designed to snap together easily to whatever size flooring you need.

This type of flooring is perfect to use for whelping kennels, as the holes in the tiles allow perfect drainage and thus the dog kennel floor itself will be kept dry and your newborn puppies will stay dry and clean as well. They are great for any type of kennel. The tiles will keep your dog dry and slightly elevated from the floor.  They do need to go down on a fairly level surface as otherwise the pieces will not snap together and stay together very well, but this is fine if you are putting them on the inside floor of a kennel for example. They are not really designed to be put directly on the ground though.

They are available in several different colors; gray, blue and green. Each piece can easily be cut down to size, thus even if your kennel floor is not exactly square you can easily cut this flooring down to size with it still fitting together well and looking great. Because of the size of each tile it can easily fit inside a dog cage or crate as well.

It is relatively cheap, each tile costs a little over $4 and covers a one foot square area. Thus if you have forty feet to cover you simply need to buy forty tiles, which would only set you back around $160, making it much more cost effective than kennel decking for example.  Decking, however, in my opinion is a better choice for outdoor dog kennel flooring as it is more sturdy and raises the dogs up off the ground much more, however if you are looking for something to place inside an outdoor kennel or even to use indoors, this is definitely worth considering.
